FAST Heroes

Together we can save the world, one grandparent at a time

The brief

80% of sufferers don’t realise they are having a stroke until it’s too late. To save and preserve lives, education is needed, so that people recognise the key symptoms of stroke and the importance of calling an ambulance straight away.

The idea:

To work with a network of global agencies and public health teams to roll out this innovative, fun and highly effective health education campaign that reaches the highest risk group (over 70s) via their grandchildren. Children are taught the FAST Heroes programme at school and tasked with sharing the knowledge with their family. Activity has included social media promotion, recruiting celebrity supporters, launching the FAST Heroes Awards, and even setting a new Guinness World Record.
