Be Fearless

Empowering young people to protect themselves and their friends

The brief

Fearless is a dedicated youth service from independent charity Crimestoppers, giving young people a way to share information about crime 100% anonymously. We were tasked with raising awareness of the service, with a particular focus on knife crime.

The idea:

We partnered with Martin and Tara, founders of Charlie’s Promise and parents of Charlie Cosser, who tragically lost his life after being stabbed at a party by a stranger known to carry a knife. Together, we created a short film telling Charlie’s story, one that lays bare the immeasurable impact of knife crime and the missed opportunities that could have saved his life. It closes with a personal message from Martin, urging anyone with information to share it anonymously with Fearless and help keep others safe. The film isn’t easy to watch. That’s exactly why it works

The results

Set to be widely shared across BBC Breakfast, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok, the film will help raise awareness of the Fearless service and spark conversations in households across the country.
